This  country is not overrun with rebels and free thinkers. It's overrun with  sheep and conformists.&rdquo;</em> Hence, we really need every student to  understand the importance of their opinions, and how they can make a  difference just by making their voice heard!<br /><br />The <strong style="">Student Council</strong> at Marr College is rapidly gaining interest as many pupils from each year group are discovering how to make a change. The <strong style="">School Captains</strong>  are meeting weekly with the students to discuss a variety of issues  from fund raising for the school, ideas for charity events and  improvements to school equipment.<br /><br />The most current topic of concern has been <strong style="">bullying</strong>  and how it is dealt within the school. Many have said that staff  members are often scary to approach with a problem and so the idea of an  &ldquo;anti-bully mentor&rdquo; and a text/email system is being developed along  with the campus cop, PC Simpson.<br /><br />Information about the student council will be spreads by information on the <strong style="">plasma screens and notice boards</strong> in the school as well as newsletters.<br /><br />Each year group have representatives on the <strong style="">Marr College Student Counci</strong><span style="text-decoration:none; font-style:normal; font-weight:400; color:rgb(42, 42, 42); "></span></span></div>]]></content:encoded></item></channel></rss>
