As promised we have two new FULL series in the library for all students to borrow. The first is the Young Samurai series by Chris Bradford. An action packed story of a boy who is shipwrecked in 1611 off the coast of Japan and his only hope is to train to become a Samurai warrior. This is an amazingly researched series written by a man who knows his way around a samurai sword. Full of adventure and intrigue.
The second is The Spooks Stories by Joseph Delaney. These creepy, scary thrilling adventures follow the story of Tom Ward, the seventh son of the seventh son as he take up the post of apprentice to the Spook. He learns quickly as he faces witches, demons and boggarts and discovers that enemies can become allies and some allies can not be trusted. A great series and one that is sure to have you cowering under the covers if you read at night!
