All S1, S2 and S3 South Ayrshire High School Students are invited to participate to the rebel writing contest!
Shadowing the Scottish Book Trust Rebel Writing Competition, we invite you to write a story of rebellion inspired by a real event you know about your parents, family, or any person who is older than you!
We accept entries in prose, up to 1000 words (the title does not count towards the word count) which contains an intergenerational rebel element.
The stories will be evaluated by a panel composed by librarians, writers and English teachers from various schools.
Thanks to the collaboration with Scottish Book Trust, the best entries will also be published in Scottish Book Trust book which is going to be published for Scottish Book Week (19/11/2018 - 25/11/2018).
All entries need to be sent in Microsoft Word or OpenOffice format to the following email address by 01/11/2018:
