Revision Donations greatly welcome

Supporting Every Pupil With Access to Revision Resources
Following a thoughtful suggestion from our Parent Council, we are launching a new initiative to strengthen the study support available to all pupils across Marr College. As part of our commitment to ensuring every young person has the tools they need to succeed, we are inviting families to donate revision guides and study books for any subject and any year group.
These donated resources will be made available through the school library, where pupils can borrow them freely throughout the year. By contributing a book, families can help us build a shared bank of high‑quality revision materials that benefit the entire school community.
How to Donate
The books can be donated in two ways:

• Drop books off at the school office during normal opening hours.
• Send books in with pupils, who can take them directly to the library.

All gently used, up‑to‑date revision guides are welcome. Subject‑specific materials such as the ‘How to Pass’ guides or Bright Red revision guides as well as general study skills books are equally appreciated.
Why This Matters
A strong library of revision resources:

• Ensures every pupil has access to the resources they need, regardless of background.
• Encourages independent study and good learning habits.
