We are delighted to confirm the timetable for supported study for S4, 5 and 6 ahead of the final SQA examination diet which commences 25 April 2019. We would be most grateful if parents would discuss this with your son/daughter and encourage them to attend supported study as often as possible. Please click the image below to view the timetable.
Here at Marr College we have been raising awareness, amongst our staff and pupils, of the various ways people can be affected by dyslexia. Led by M Elliot from SSDT this is part of a nationwide campaign run by Dyslexia Scotland. There are many ways our staff support the young people at Marr and each other face the challenges dyslexia may, not only in accessing the curriculum but also in day-to-day life. Below you will find links to a presentation show to everyone in school as well as information about dyslexia friendly formats that all our staff are encouraged to follow. If you have been in school this week and wondered why staff are wearing a blue ribbon, it is part of this campaign. Parents/carers should not hesitate to contact a member of guidance staff if they have any concerns about their child.
