Marr College School Captains 2021-2022
Hello
It’s Sophie, Lucy, Jake and Cameron here and we are delighted to be School Captains for Marr for session 2021/2022. We are very proud to be students of Marr College and be part of the tradition and history that is associated with the school and its iconic building.
We believe that we have a great school ethos at Marr College. Working with the Leadership team and staff our aim is for everyone who attends Marr to feel part of the school community in their own way and that all students are included and feel supported during their time at school. We have several ideas and initiatives to meet these aims that we will be introducing throughout the school year. We also believe that Marr College should be an integral part of the wider community and we look forward to working with local partners to strengthen those relationships particularly during and after the pandemic.
Thank you
Our Captains aim to develop Student Leadership in the school. Having a powerful student voice that can be heard is vital within the school environment and they will be strengthening this through the work they do in school. They will also be improving wider achievement, to ensure that all students have their successes recognised and celebrated. It is important that as a school we contribute to the wider community through raising funds for various charities and the Captains aim to bring the whole school together at numerous points in the year to achieve this.
