Mobile Phone Use
Smartphones
We revised our Mobile Phone policy - developed in consultation with a group of staff and parents - during session 2019/20. You can read the full policy here.
We have clearly displayed areas around the school where mobile phones can be used freely and also areas where we prohibit the use of mobile phones, an example of one such sign is below. Classroom teachers can choose whether to allow use of phones or not, depending on the learning and teaching taking place.

Bring Your Own Device (BYOD)
As of August 2023 our BYOD unsecured WiFi network was installed.
This is intended to enable our learners to use their devices (e.g. smartphones, tablets, chromebooks and laptops) in class to access Teams and other learning resources online without the need to move to classrooms with personal computers.
