How do we keep calm, reduce stress and relax? Find below a mix of tips we all use to help us everyday.
I like to use the sleep stories on the Calm app to help me unwind and prepare for sleep at the end of a busy day. |
I practice mindfulness daily to be fully present in the moment and keep anxiety at bay. |
When I find that I am getting stressed out, or feeling anxious, about something I find that exercise and music really help me. Playing football or going a run help me refocus on what is important.

I go for a walk or run and listen to my happy music! I also try and speak to friends not just messages. I love hearing people smile!!

As an English teacher, it won't be a surprise that my favourite way to relax is curling up with a good book and a cup of tea!

To relax I enjoy listening to music, spending time with people I care about, yoga, running and being outside. Recognising how the physical sensations in my body respond to different emotions and situations also really helps me.
