Sponsored Walk
Marr College S6 Leadership group have planned a 5km sponsored Colour Walk around our local community during periods 5 & 6 on Thursday 19th September 2019 in aid of ‘Crosshouse Children’s Fund’.
This year we are delighted to be supporting Crosshouse Children’s Fund Charity, who support children and families in the maternity, neonatal and paediatric units at Crosshouse Hospital. The charity aims to enhance hospital experiences for patients by providing equipment and support services that can help to alleviate the worries of a hospital visit. With your help, we can be there for young patients and their families when they need us most. |
We would encourage all students to take part and help raise our school target of £5000 as all funds raised go straight to the charity and stay in Ayrshire and Arran.
We have set up Just Giving links for each our house group and you can donate through:

Every penny helps and we would encourage all of our pupils at Marr to take part.
On the day pupils must register with their period 5 class first before embarking on their walk. We recommend that your child wear a white top during this walk to enhance the coloured powder that will be thrown at the start. This powder contains the following:
If your children is allergic to any of these substance please disclose this information by return text or email to our school office. There is also alternative start route with no coloured powder if your child does not wish to be part of the colour walk. At the end of the walk there will be water and snack treats available for all young people as a reward for completing this walk.
Many thanks for supporting our charity.
