Youth in Philanthropy Initiative

Picture
Thursday 9th February 2017 saw the third annual Youth in Philanthropy Initiative (YPI) final at Marr College.

Every year all S5 pupils are taken through the programme and asked to identify a local charity dealing with important social issues in our community. Pupils then work in teams to create presentations highlighting the work of their chosen charity.
The winning team receives a cheque for £3000, courtesy of the YPI programme and the Wood Foundation.

This year's winning team were representing Ayrshire Sands.
In the picture we have Abbie Kane, Rachel Hughes, Niamh Dunn and Chloe Grace with Viviene and Alison representing Ayrshire Sands .
