After four years playing handball, Morven Atkinson is reaping the rewards of hard work, dedication and training. She was recently spotted by a Scottish team scout at a tournament and has been given the opportunity to train with the Scottish S1-3 squad. The scout said she had 'Amazing footwork' and was impressed with how well she ran for the ball. She will join our other pupil Christie McDonald who also trains with the Scottish team. We wish both girls success.
Our school handball team, which includes both girls named above, are playing in a handball tournament today, Friday 6th October, at Ravenscraig. We wish the whole team the best of luck.
