Poppy Cat | Ottoline and the Yellow Cat |
When I was younger this book was very special to me because every night before bed my mum would read it to me. If I didn't get it read to me I wouldn't want to go to bed. If I lost it she read it that often that she would read it to me without the book. I still have it today. Pirates! This book means a lot to me because it's hard to understand all her problems at first, but as you read it your understand what she's going through. The Blitz My favourite book is "My Story: The Blitz" as it was the first chapter book I have ever finished by myself. It has short chapters and isn't very long. Guess How Much I Love You I got this book read to me every night when I was younger with my mum, dad and sisters. My little sister still gets it read to her and sometimes I listen in too. It brings back memories from when I was younger. Winnie the Pooh The book that is really important to me is Winnie the Pooh because my Auntie read it to me before she moved to a different country and I don't see her anymore. It is my favourite because I used to love it and read it all the time and never read any other book except that one. My favourite character is Tigger because he is really energetic and talkative like me. | This book is special to me because I used to read it as a child all the time. It's about this girl called Ottoline solving mysteries and robberies. All the crimes are done by the yellow cat. I will always love this book as it is a memory. Hunger Games This is my favourite book because it is very exciting, fast moving, and it always make sense. (Its not confusing to understand) It improved my vocabulary and I love the movie too. The big book of Christmas This is my favourite because it was the only book that was at my grans and we would read it, even though it was only April. RatBurger It's a special book to me because when I was younger my mum would read a bit and so would I. I struggled in reading so when I was able to read Ratburger I managed to read other books, now I read so many different books. Skullduggery Pleasant My favourite book is Skullduggery Pleasant. I enjoyed the first book which is a mystery. At the start the protagonists uncle dies and at the funeral a mysterious man in a coat, scarf, hat and sunglasses arrives, who appears to be her uncles best friend. I love this book as there are loads of cliff hangers which keeps you on edge. I also love the story behind it as there are many stories which at the end all eventually link up with Skullduggery Pleasant. |
