Our S1-3 Girls Scottish Handball team travelled to Ravenscraig, Motherwell on Friday 28th October to compete in the National Championships.
The team consisted of Keera Morley, Abbey McAlindon, Gilly Broadfoot, Sophie Woods, Jemma Lee, Freya MacDonald, Christie McDonald, Morven Atkinson, Robyn Jamieson, Lia Matteoni and Erin Bell.
The girls team went undefeated throughout the tournament to become Scottish Handball Champions. They beat Our Lady’s Cumbernauld 4-3 in a very closely fought final. This is the second time in 3 years the girls have been crowned Scottish Champions. A special mention should also go to Chris Kerr (team coach) for a magnificent job in training and supporting the girls. Well done everyone.
