Craig Young (5P) enjoyed a double success this week, being accepted to the prestigious Scottish Space School, and also on to a Headstart course at university.
The Scottish Space School is an extremely popular residential event, and the job of selecting candidates is becoming more and more difficult for the judging panel. This makes Craig’s achievement of being offered a place even more impressive.
Similarly Headstart courses are incredibly popular and over-subscribed. The judging panel said “This year we have been over-subscribed with more than 1,100 students who weren't lucky enough to be offered a place on any Headstart course at all, so we urge your student to accept this course. Your students have done well to gain a place. Thank you so much for all you do to inspire them.”
